Research Australia Philanthropy Advisory Panel Service
Research Australia Philanthropy's Panel Service can help trusts, foundations, private donors and companies who would like to know who, how and what to support.
The Research Australia Philanthropy Scientific Advisory Panel offers a service, on a fee-paying basis, to undertake, assess and provide recommendations on the sustainability of health and medical research applications seeking philanthropic support.
Objective
The Research Australia Philanthropy Scientific Review Panel offers a service to trusts, foundations and the corporate sector to advise on the scientific merit of grant applications.
Panels will provide reliable, impartial and trustworthy means of handling complex research applications.
The opportunity to make decisions guided by Panel assessments provides support and guidance to grantmakers wishing to give to health and medical research.
An Advisory Panel convened in October 2008 to provide recommendations for grant applications received by State Trustees. The Panel considered applications in three areas:
- Cancer research and treatment.
- Breast cancer research and treatment.
- Medical research into heart health.
Research Australia is pleased to announce all recommendations were accepted by State Trustees.
